  Commencing in 1998, and approved by the AsstSecretary of Defense, the Supreme Counci initiated a program of recognition for outstanding Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) students. The initiative recognizes students enrolled in the JROTC unit for their scholastic excellence and patriotic Americanism efforts. Approved by the Assistant Secretary of Defense, this award consists of a medal, ribbon, and certificate suitable for framing. The medal depicts the heraldic logo of the ScottishRite of Freemasonry, and by the words “JROTC Education and Americanism,” it calls attention to two of the major points of the Scottish Rite.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to join us at one of the three Scottish Rite leadership conferences in San Diego, St. Louis or Baltimore. There you will receive your instructions on membership, leadership, finance, development, and much more, to be disclosed upon your arrival. Be careful on your journey to meet us, and be sure to share this information with other like-minded Brethren who will also accept the challenge. On February 21st, Stated Meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, followed by Dinner at 6:30 pm, then we will adjourn to Auditorium for special Opera and Magic Show at 7:30 pm.   Tickets are on Sale for 15.00 per person, and can be purchased on Saturday between 5:00 and 8:00 pm during our Installation of Officers ceremony at the Scottish Rite Center in San Bernardino.  Or, folks can call the Scottish Rite Center (909-887-4415) and make reservations... but must pay for their ticket reservations at the door on Feb 21st.
